Where is my Turbo part number?
Part numbers are found usually on the compressor (Aluminum) housing, or on the center section of the turbo, which is machined, flat, or on a metal tag. If you cannot locate it, please contact us and we will help you identify it.
Important Information before fitting your new CHRA or Turbo:
Turbochargers are very reliable indeed. Of all Turbocharger failures, very few are the fault of the turbo itself, but in fact caused by outside influence. These are the most common causes of consequential failure (NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY):
- Oil starvation: A blocked or restricted oil feed pipe, damaged oil pump, low oil level
- Oil contamination: Metal particles or carbon from poor servicing or faulty DPF filters, EGR valves etc
- Over speeding: Boost pipe work, holed intercooler, jammed VNT, Remap
- Impact damage: Faulty air filter, remains of past Turbo failure, Swirl flap failure etc.
Before fitting the new part, you MUST first find the reason why you’re Turbo failed and correct it. Simply fitting a new CHRA in most instances will only result in re-occurrence of the failure. Parts must be installed by a qualified mechanic, and the supplied installation instructions followed in full. We compile installation instructions with our many years of experience in the Turbo industry and our knowledge on Turbocharger failures and their causes. Failing to follow the instructions in full could result in an expensive failure.
